Policy-makers must solve the UK’s housing problems

Once the furore has died down about the upturn in the fortunes of the construction industry and the UK economy in general, a wider issue remains. While we’re building more houses than we’ve done for years, the UK isn’t building enough. Demand is outstripping supply and it’s not even a closely-run thing.

"My experiences with RLF have been extremely positive since we started working together a year ago. I am confident in RLFs approach and always value the advice provided to East Thames as client. It is pleasure to meet a team of colleagues who are approachable, professional and whom you can rely on to get the job done successfully. I have been particularly impressed with RLF in the Employer’s Agent role where their hard work and dedication to the project have been second to none. RLF have a very proactive approach and an eye for detail which is crucial on such a large project. RLF have been the perfect mediator when negotiations have turned contractual and is always able to stay calm and make people smile when the heat is on. Thank you for providing a top notch service."

"RLF has been one of Aldwyck Housing Group’s strategic cost consultants for several years. We have always found them highly professional and their people constructive and positive. They are often the first consultants we discuss any proposed procedural changes with, as we value their practical advice.  The Development Team enjoys working with them and we would recommend them to anyone."

"Snohetta Architects, Norway, had an opportunity to work with RLF on the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy. This was an extremely complex master-plan design process involving multiple international consultancies and covered everything from Energy supply, Transport systems, Water and Waste, Agriculture, and all the various city functions of housing, retail, commerce, education and culture. RLF supported the design team and built an overall cost framework which was delivered as part of the competition package. RLF were flexible in their approach and offered valuable insight throughout the process. Their staff  were informed and approachable at all times and we were very happy with the service RLF provide. We can strongly recommend them."
