The Leadership Development Programme (LDP) is our structured training and development scheme designed to give business and management training to the next generation of leaders; committed achievers within the practice who have demonstrated their ability and aspirations to take Robinson Low Francis forward.

The programme is available to anyone in the business; it is unique to our firm and is Institute of Leadership Management (ILM) approved. It is currently based on a structured two year cyclical programme, with a degree of content flexibility that takes account of the individual requirements of each of the participants. The programme generally takes the following form:

-    Initial written application to join the programme followed by selection interview
-    Monthly away days delivered by external and internal facilitators
-    Business development research and planning (group work)
-    Individual coaching and mentoring
-    360 degree appraisals and personal development plans
-    Delivery of group business development proposals in a ‘Dragons’ Den’ format
-    Selection of individual business development projects
-    Implementation of individual business development projects with RLF champions
-    Closure report on delivery of individual projects

The Partners’ continued support for this programme is seen as an essential way of identifying and nurturing the potential future leaders for the business, giving the opportunity to grow their all round management skills beyond technical expertise and day-to-day industry experience.
