Genassist International

Genassist International LLP was formed by Robinson Low Francis LLP in the summer of 2009 to provide a specialist structural consultancy service to the national and international power generation industries. Our core services are to provide structural survey and inspection, design, and disaster recovery services for fossil fuel, waste and nuclear stations, and other forms of power generation infrastructure.

These and other services are provided by the Chartered Structural Engineers and other technical personnel forming Genassist; all of whom possess significant experience and understanding of power station design and operation. This depth of experience and high calibre of our work has fostered strong relationships with current clients and is opening up further opportunities for Genassist within the power sector.

During its first four months, we completed several civil asset surveys, boiler inspections, and alteration designs for E-on, International Power, and RWEnpower power stations both in the United Kingdom and internationally. The team has had a busy autumn period with structural inspections, design, feasibility studies and disaster recovery services for these and other clients.

The global electricity demand is creating an increasing market for the skills we, as a team at Genassist, possess. This is demonstrated by the increasingly frequent international enquiries received after our inception. An uncertainty of supply, the race to renewable, carbon capture schemes, and the increase in the use of energy from waste plants in the United Kingdom provide Genassist with opportunities to increase its presence on the domestic market within their specialist areas.
