RLF WELCOMES NEW PARTNER

The Birmingham office of RLF, a national property and construction consultancy, has promoted David Worthington to partner.

David has significant expertise in both pre-contract / cost planning and contractor support services.  As part of his new role, he will be responsible for project resourcing within the Birmingham Office.

On his promotion, David commented:  “I’m really looking forward to sinking my teeth into my new role as partner.  As we’re celebrating the 50th anniversary of RLF in Birmingham this year, I’m eager to build on our past successes and ensure the company continues playing an active role in shaping the city over the next 50 years.”

Having gained a degree in Quantity Surveying at Birmingham City University, he entered the profession as a private practice quantity surveyor before moving to Midlands based contractor, Linford Group Ltd, where he became a director. David joined RLF in 2002 and has been the principal force behind RLF’s contractor support services team working on major PFI projects as well as being the principal cost planner on numerous major projects spanning the private and public sector.

David Harris, office managing partner for RLF in Birmingham, commented:  “I am delighted that Dave Worthington accepted our invitation to become a partner of the firm.  He is highly respected and well liked by his clients and colleagues for his high level of competence, attention to detail and sense of humour. I am confident that David will play a major role in taking the firm forward in the years ahead.”

Away from the office, David has a keen interest in all sports and his hobbies include gardening and chess!!
